Job Description
You will develop and maintain the key AI infrastructure of the Mira stack. This involves expertise in AI and machine learning frameworks, and proficiency in programming languages & frameworks like Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch and NLP tools. Ability to see projects through from start to finish with good organizational skills and attention to detail. This is a perfect role for someone who likes to build cutting-edge AI products and potentially wants to start their own company.
Responsibilities
- AI Workflow Design and Optimization: Create and refine workflows integrating pre-trained models, data, and prompts. Optimize for performance and scalability within the Mira’s platform.
- Model Fine-tuning and Adaptation: Fine-tune and adapt pre-trained models (language and vision) for specific use cases. Implement performance optimization techniques for inference.
- AI Infrastructure Development: Develop and optimize the AI platform stack. Implement cutting-edge solutions to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability. Incorporate and test relevant open-source AI infrastructure.
- Technical Leadership and Cross-functional Collaboration: Take ownership of projects, manage timelines, and coordinate with cross-functional teams. Provide technical guidance on AI integration and mentor junior engineers.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay current with AI advancements, focusing on model usage, prompt engineering, and RAG systems. Continuously enhance the platform's capabilities and performance.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of backend experience preferably in a high growth startup
- Expertise in NLP techniques and tools, with experience in tasks such as text generation, summarization, translation, and conversational agents. Familiarity with transformer architectures and pre-trained models like GPT-3, GPT-4, or BERT.
- Experience in deploying generative models into production environments using cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in designing, developing, and fine-tuning generative models such as GANs (Generative Adversarial Networks), VAEs (Variational Autoencoders), and transformer-based models (e.g., GPT, BERT).
- Additional points for experience in Open source and/or Blockchain
